Carbendazim works by inhibiting fungal cell wall synthesis. It is suitable for a wide range of crops and diseases, primarily including the following:
Crop Disease Control
For rice, it can control blast, sheath blight, and false smut, reducing the impact of ear and leaf diseases on yield.
For wheat and corn, it can control powdery mildew, rust, and head blight. It is especially effective when used during the wheat flowering stage to reduce grain contamination caused by head blight.
Cash Crop Disease Control
For fruit tree cultivation (such as apples, pears, and grapes), it can control ring rot, anthracnose, and scab, protecting fruit appearance and yield.
For vegetable cultivation (such as cucumbers, tomatoes, and cabbage), it can control downy mildew, gray mold, and powdery mildew, reducing leaf and fruit rot.
Other Crops and Applications
For cotton, it can control wilt and verticillium wilt, preventing plant wilt and death. For seed treatment, pre-sowing seed dressing or soaking can kill seed-borne fungi and prevent seedling diseases (such as damping-off and damping-off).
For storage preservation, spraying or soaking harvested fruit (such as citrus and apples) can inhibit mold during storage.
